Texas State Round Rock Graduation Photos | Allie’s Graduation Session

Graduation, Milestone

Allie's Grad Session

Some friendships are just forever friendships — and my friendship with Allie is exactly that. We’ve been best friends for over 20 years now, which honestly feels CRAZY to say out loud.

When Allie decided to go back to school to become a Respiratory Therapist, all of us were incredibly proud of her. Going back to school as an adult takes so much courage, discipline, and determination (because honestly… I don’t know if I could do it at this age 😂). But if there’s one thing about Allie, it’s that she absolutely crushes whatever she sets her mind to.

As if tackling school wasn’t impressive enough, during her final semester she found out she was pregnant — and somehow still powered through while finishing her program. So yes, in my opinion, she’s already Super Mom. And Auntie Kels could not be more excited to meet this sweet baby!

A Graduation Session at Texas State University Round Rock Campus

When Allie asked me to take her graduation photos, I couldn’t have been more honored. Even though I recently moved to the Houston area, there was absolutely no way I wasn’t hopping in the car to Georgetown to capture such a huge milestone for one of my best friends.

We decided to take her graduation photos at the Texas State University Round Rock Campus, and honestly, it was the perfect location. If you’ve never seen this campus before, it is absolutely stunning. The architecture, clean spaces, and natural light make it such a beautiful place for graduation portraits in Round Rock, TX.

There’s also something incredibly sentimental about taking graduation photos in a place where you spent so much time growing, learning, and working toward a dream. These locations become part of your story — and there’s something really special about documenting that.

The Funny Story Behind the Session

Of course, no session with your best friend would be complete without a little chaos.

Pregnancy brain got the best of Allie, and she accidentally forgot her cap and gown! At first, she thought we were going to run behind and miss out on photos, but spoiler alert: everything worked out perfectly.

The weather was beautiful, the sunshine showed up for us in the best way, and honestly — when you’re glowing like Allie was, none of the little hiccups really matter anyway.

As life tends to remind us, everything always works out in the end.

Celebrating Big Milestones

Allie — I am endlessly proud of you. You are absolutely glowing, incredibly talented, and already going to be the best mom to this sweet baby.

Thank you for trusting me to capture such a meaningful season of your life. From best friends for 20+ years to getting to photograph milestones like this — it’s something I’ll never take for granted.

I know this is only the beginning of so many amazing things for you, and I feel so lucky to be by your side through all of it.
